I found this on eBay. It's a picture from a Oct 30 1977 Chicago Tribune TV Week.

Two weird things: The episode listed was "Roper's Car," but the photo is from "Chrissy's Night Out." Also, Audra Lindley isn't wearing her Mrs. Roper wig in the photo (and Chrissy isn't wearing the red peasant dress she's wearing at the end of "Chrissy's Night Out"), so it must be an outtake or rehearsal shot.

Wow what a cool little behind the scene photo, good find but I thought TC in its second season was airing at 9pm instead of 8pm.

I think this would have been listing shows in Central Time (Chicago), not Eastern, so it would have been an hour behind---that's the only thing I can think of.

People reading that caption would think James Cromwell was a regular on the show.:lol: It makes sense they would list the shows in Central Standard Time, since that's Chicago's time zone, like Austin's. Nice rare photo!

Yeah, really! I think this must have been a mistake on the press department's behalf---there were so many promotional shots of the show even by the second season, why did they send in a photo of a rehearsal (with Mrs. Roper not looking like Mrs. Roper)? It must have been one of those accidental mistake or a last minute blooper.
