I just recently got Escape, a digital sub-channel through my local stations and I discovered a show called American Justice. Has anyone ever watched it? I was intrigued and riveted by an episode called To Save Their Souls which focused on John List. The series seems pretty solid and well put together, perhaps even as well as classic Unsolved Mysteries.

I was curious, does anyone know if this series covered any of the same stories that Unsolved Mysteries did??

yep, it's pretty popular here. I made a 36 disc set of the show. Offhand, here are the cases I know have been presented on both shows:

-Alex Kelly
-Jacklyn Dawaliby (I'll never spell that correctly, I'm sure)
-Rolando Cruz/Jeanine Nicarico
-Shannon Mohr/Dave Davis
-Darlie Routier
-Jeffrey MacDonald
-Unabomber
-Kenneth McDuff
-Linda Sobek
-Green River Killer
-Ted Binion
-Martha Moxley

I remember watching American Justice on A & E ( I think it was A & E) in the early 00's!!! Before Investigative Discovery Channel ,it was a really good program, around the same time Cold Case Files ( I mean the real Cold Case files, not the TV show reenactment) was on too!!! !!! And Forensic Files was also on, and that was before ID TV too!!!

No, there aren't any new eps. After a long run (it first started airing in the 90's), Forensic Files aired its final new episode in 2011.

Yeah!!! Great show!!! I've seen them all pretty much, but I do watch again on some of the really good eps or if I forgot the outcome of what happened!!!!

I wish they would bring the show back with brand new eps!!!! ;)

Me too, although the narrator, Peter Thomas, is 91 years old and may not have much time left, sadly.

That's correct. The last new episode of Forensic Files aired on June 17, 2011. The final episode, "Expert Witness" (aka "Hair Today Gone Tomorrow"), is about the 1993 murder of Tammy Tatum. In December 2014, series executive producer Paul Dowling was asked about the status of FF on his Twitter page, and his reply was, "It's finished."

He also hosted Investigative Reports, which was another awesome show, as well as L.A. Detectives which wasn't too bad either. I haven't seen him in anything new since a JFK special a few years back.

I love Bill Kurtis and AJ, as well as Forensic Files. I may be a weirdo but I have fond memories of coming home from work at 2am in the early 00s and falling asleep to FF and Peter Thomas's awesome voice. I still like watching it sometimes on HLN when ID repeats their 7pm shows at 10pm.
