Kanye West Still isn't Satisfied, Now Wants to be "American Idol"

He was already America's idol, but now he wants to be an "American Idol".

Mr. Kim Kardashian, sometimes known as rapper Kanye West, made a surprise appearance Saturday in San Francisco during the auditions for the new -- and final -- season of the singing competition series.



He performed his own hit 'Gold Digger' for judges Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban, who, according to Kardashian's Instagram, were very excited when they realized what was happening.

Host Ryan Seacrest also got in on the action, posting a photo to Instagram in which he's high-fiving West. "Look who's going to Hollywood!" it read.



Oh, Kanye.

The final season of "American Idol" premieres in January on Fox.
