I'm not eating McDonald's and Wendy's French fries anymore because they put way too much salt on them. I went to McDonald's yesterday for lunch and I got some French fries with chicken nuggets and I noticed that there was too much salt on the fries. So I didn't eat most of them and I threw them away. The McDonald's and Wendy's employees don't give a damn about their customers getting high cholesterol and other health issues from eating so much salt on their fries. The employees could care less about people's health and they need to start caring because the customers need to demand to them to stop putting so much salt on the French fries. I went to Applebee's restaurant a few weeks ago and I noticed that when I had a bacon cheeseburger with French fries that the French fries didn't have a lot of salt. As a matter of fact, I didn't taste any salt on the fries and I liked that. I did put some ketchup on them. So if I want some French fries, i'll go to Applebee's to get some.

You can request no-salt fries and add it yourself.

Damn those unhealthy fast food restaurants.

It's not really the employees fault!! They are trained to make the food a certain way, and the amount of salt is probably what they are told to put on them!

Bonus: You'll know you are getting a fresh batch of fries. :)

Plus, if you're really worried about health, probably shouldn't be going to fast food joints. Nothing wrong with it in moderation of course, but still.

All that salt is what makes them taste so good. I try to limit myself to 1 small fry a week since it's not such a healthy choice. At home I use No Salt seasoning.

How is that? Is it good? Cause I need to watch my salt intake too, but I would miss the taste! This No Salt would be a good option for me! ;)

I love salty fries.

I feel McDonald's has okay fries, but Wendy's...they have the skin-on fries and it has sea salt which is better for you than regular salt.

I'll add ketchup to my fries if needed anymore...I have my fries with salt and pepper.

Those salt substitutes(at least the ones that I've tried) leave a terrible after taste. As do most artificial sweeteners. Ick!puke:

Equal is pretty good. But I prefer Splenda.

When I cook with it, I really can't tell the difference. But adding it on top of my fries I can tell a slight difference in the taste. You'd just have to try it and see if you like it.

Once I put some sweet & low on my cereal and it tasted so bad I had to dump it out. But when I add it to my tea, it's not so bad. Since I drink my tea on the strong side, I think it kills the after taste of the sweetener. The No Salt is okay when cooking and I can't really taste much of a difference. But if you want to salt your fries after cooking you can taste a little difference from regular salt.

Sonics has them, they're really good, better than any of the other fast food fries.
Taco Bell used to have Mexi-nuggets which were their version of tater tots. I miss those.
I do get them from time to time from the roach coach that shows up outside where I work. They're good too.

Yeah, I wasn't sure I would like the green bean fries. My wife and I used to get them when we had Schwan service out here.

I don't think I've had tater tots since I left High School. I used to love them.

I remember around 1999 seeing boxes that McDonald's fries were delivered in, uncooked, at one of their restaurants. On the boxes read something like "SALT THE FRIES" in big letters -- instructions for the employees who'd be cooking them.

I think the reason for that was the following: salty food makes people more thristy, so sales of drinks will increase...!

Nice picture of Nancy Stafford from Matlock tv show in your avatar. She was cute back in the day and she had a nice body. She played a prostitute on the first season before she worked for Matlock LOL. She invited Matlock to her hotel room to be intimate but he wanted to ask her questions about a football player he was representing in a murder trial because she dated him. She sat in Matlock's lap in a chair and she was touching his hair while they talked LOL. She went to the bathroom to change in something sexy and he put some money on the bed and he walked out LOL. When she came out, she saw he was gone and she saw the money LOL. I would've stayed and had sex with her hahahahahahahahahahaha. I'm going to Applebee's restaurant this weekend and I'm gonna have their French fries with a bacon cheeseburger. I love their French fries because they have no salt.
