So some character is always telling another character to go get something in the kitchen, so they can talk 'privately', with yet another character while sitting on the sofa...........ummm....looks like a pretty 'open' room, don't ya think the person exiled to the kitchen can still hear ya??? LOL.....just a silly thought while watching today...not a criticism or 'I hate this show' post or 'I'll never watch this again' post:) :D just a silly observation on my part!

I know, right? I saw them do that the other day but I forget which episode. Other sitcoms have shutters at the counter that they can close to get some privacy.

I know!!!! Sitcoms do this ALL the time!! Even if they have a door or shutters .Don't ya think the person knows the other two are talking about them or up to something when they are like "I need to see you in the kitchen"!!!!

"Yoo-hoo, Sweetheart, can you come help me get the pot roast out of the oven--NOW!!"

"Yoo-hoo, Sweetheart, can you come help me get the pot roast out of the oven--NOW!!"
LOL!!! Yeah the "NOW" part is what really makes it suspicious ! And the person calling the other person in the kitchen always seems nervous and shifty eyed!!!

And the other character usually says, "What pot roast?? Oh, yea, right. THAT pot roast. I'm coming!"

I was thinking that too...can't remember the episode, the other day, though. They were on the other side of the counter! I hate it when characters have to play dumb like they don't have a clue that they're missing something!
