“I can say that, based upon the people that continuously approach me and talk about how it’s profoundly impacted their lives, I don’t feel you can take that back. You can’t take back the impact that it’s had on generations of kids, and it’s continuing to have such a positive impact on them. So I feel like the place that it has in people’s hearts is such a nostalgic part of childhood and beyond, it’s going to be difficult to take back those memories.”

One thing it showed was that black families weren't always ghetto and they could be as good as anyone. I grew up in a neighborhood that was diverse with both black and white families who were professional and it was nice. I learned an important lesson early on that it's not based on race who's horrible but class. There is a black middle class and they are just like the white middle class. They want the same things that anyone does.

I feel sorry for the other actors on the show. Their legacy are tied to Cosby's.
