I just saw the episode yesterday where Mr. Roeper sold the apartment complex, and was wondering why did he decide to leave the show? Was it for health reasons? Also I was wondering if Norman Fell is still alive, and if not, when did he die? Thanks!

The Ropers left the show to star in their own spin-off called "The Ropers" The show only lasted 2 seasons though :(

And yes, Norman Fell AND Audra Lindley are both dead :(

Audra: Died: October 16, 1997 (complications from leukemia)
Norman: Died: December 14, 1998 (cancer)

Man, that's too bad that they died. Mr Ferley was good on the show, but Mr Roeper was always my favorite! Anyway, thanks alot for the information, I really appreciate it.

I don't understand why like when The Ropers ended couldn't they of came back to Three's Company, saying that the apartment didn't work out due to like the neighbors or something? It's like when Denise (Lisa Bonet) left The Cosby Show for A Different World but came back to The Cosby Show because she dropped out of college. I think that the Ropers were funny. I hated Mr. Furley. God he was annoying. I could stand him in Andy Griffith but not this....it turns out HE was the one that sounded gay and not Jack (Yes I knew that Jack wasn't gay in the show).

The ropers WERE going to come back. Fred Silverman garunteed them that if the show didn't make it within one year, they'd come back to TC, by then, they were replaced by Don Knotts, and they didn't get to come back.

I'm pretty sure that this is why. The show ended AFTER Furley came right?

I like Mr. Furley more! I liked the Ropers too, but I just think that Mr. Furley was funnier...(thanks, whoever, for taking that picture off. lol)

I loved Don Knotts as Furley, but Norman Fell was Awesome as Roper.
