I've had 11 jobs in my life and the worst one by far was Walmart cashier. I had nightmares that I was still working there years after I quit.

OH Nuts!

I would be miserable and horrible in jobs with very high stress like: Doctor, air traffic controller, working on a movie set etc.

I would say probably the worst job is being a roofer. Up on a roof all day with the sun beating down on you, always wonder if your going to fall off the roof, carrying ladders, climbing ladders with the new shingles or whatever. That would be terrible in my opinion. I however spent 9 1/2 years of my life inside a Walmart as being an associate/assistant manager/vendor I can honestly say never had a nightmare about it. I guess I never bring my work home with me. Do I miss it? No. I don't regret it either. I met a lot of good people there which I still consider my friends.

I had a lot of friends that used to work at Friendly's and they all said that was a HORRIBLE place. Two of my friends that used to work there said there was always a massive pile of dishes because they had no set person for a dishwasher. The cooks and servers had to pitch in and do them (most of the time they did not). Our Friendlys was always busy so the servers had to wait on their tables, cash out people, clean their own tables, make salads, make desserts and do dishes. So if all the plates were dirty, someone would have to run back real quickly and run plates through the machine. My friends said they closed at 12 midnight and by the time they did clean up and that, they would not get out until 2 or 3 in the morning. Not a job I would like.

I went to our local Friendly's and thought food was awful. What has happened there. The place was full of kids but my food I swear came from the freezer to a microwave and put on my plate. I had a 3 tough slider hamburgs, dry as bone with no flavor, 3 chicken fingers, they were a little better, and the best, laugh if you like was the french fries. As least my teeth could go through those. I read a year or two ago Friendlys were closing up. Most food as I look around was all yellow brown in color. hamburgs, fried food, hotdogs. What happened to a blue plate special type dinner of pork chop/beef , whipped potato, broccoli.

I would think a lousy job would be mucking out horse stalls. Anything to do with horses. Thank the lord using a horse for transportation has gone out of style. Smelly job. I don't see many flies on the streets today.

I enjoy speaking to people from a call center, but I can't stand a number of my co-workers who act unprofessionally and yawn and chatter inappropriately and disruptively without any repercussions. They act like they can get away with it.
I'm seriously worried about what people think when they hear us on the phone. It's embarrassing. I like to be pleasant and professional, but it becomes such a challenge these days.
