Alfredo Prieto was executed tonight. To refresh your memory he murdered Veronica "Tina" Jefferson, Rachael Raver and Warren Fulton all profiled on UM. He is thought to have murdered at least 9 people and committed 4 rapes and has expressed no remorse for his crimes.

While I'm not really pro-death penalty, I have absolutely no sympathy for this guy and hope his death brings closure to the family.

I was so interested in the amount of work the lawyers put in to commute his sentence and as I read I wish he afforded his victims the same. What he did to the three of the victims profiled on UM they think there is at least 6+ more and I tend to agree. Until CODIS came around they had no idea he was the perp in the Raver/Fulton case. My sister lives right by the area now that was so built up in the 2000's.......but I always think about how he unmercifully killed both of those "kids" back then. Good riddence.

I feel the same way.

It disgusts me that they tried the "intellectually disabled" card to spare him. I can only imagine the pain and fear of his victims. In particular, Rachel Raver dying as he attacked her in her last moments. Just disgusting. I was saddened to learn that Veronica Jefferson's father passed away before Prieto was sentenced, but I hope her mother is still alive, same with Veronica Raver. It won't bring their children back, but hopefully it will give some peace of mind to know their children's killer will never hurt anyone ever again.
