Like most people if you ever opened a strange letter you got in the mail that turned out to be a speeding ticket caught by a camera, with a photo of your car and license plate, you were probably ticked off, or shocked to say the least.

The supreme court had ruled this method of a moving violation of a scam, and that's what it is, unconstitutional. Many people will simply pay the fines, but a big percentage refuse to buy into this scam, that apparently many towns and villages have found that they have struck pay dirt with.

The Violation, does not go against your license as point, and does not even raise your insurance rates. Infact if you refuse to pay it, you can't even be prosecuted, and NO WARRANTS will ever be issued for you. The most that can be done is they can try to hurt your credit through collections.

Below is a link that will explain in more detail. I would research this more and perhaps if you do ever get one of these Bulls**t tickets, then you can possibly fight it due to the fact that it was ruled unconstitutional by the supreme court.

One of my friends got a ticket from one of these cameras at one of those "Protected" turns. :angryfire He was making a left turn when the driver of the car in front of him (driven by a senior citizen) BALKED at the intersection, then decided to do a u-tern instead of a left turn. The photo shows him and another car behind him (Who also turned, and most likely got a ticket as well) as well as the driver in front of him. The online video shows the senior's car pulling out of the lane, then balking which resulted in the time allotted to a green signal, resulting in giving my friend, as well as the driver of car behind him getting a ticket.

He is fighting his ticket in court.
