I imagine there are quite a few!
The one that comes to my mind is the beginning of the "Bordello Murder" segment. "A double murder" used to kind of catch me off guard
I also believe that his statement at the end of the Frontera segment was creepy!

When he said: (In refrence to Angela Hammond) "I didn't need to use the phone anyway." Chills.
When he read portions of Gail Delano's diary. That was sad.

The way he said, "They know," while talking about the Jeremy Bright case. Though the cops involved have to be like the worst cops ever.

Occasionally they'd do a live show where they'd show some short segments and wait for tips. Right before the commercial break, he'd always dramatically turn away from the camera to stand watch over his call center like the badass call center overlord that he knew he was. As a kid I couldn't decide if it was the goofiest thing I'd ever seen or if he'd just reached "Rod Serling" levels of omnipotence.

Scariest? For me it was those reports of multiple people wanted for different things (murder, sexual abuse, etc)
They usually did them in the late 80's early 90's segments. They usually had three or four people with their picture and some stats about them and he usually said they were armed and dangerous.
THAT was scary.

The way he walked near that flame in the spontaneous combustion episode was both scary and badass to me. The ending of "The Blob" episode when he talked about how the goo was destroyed and can't be tested anymore sent chills through me too.
One that comes to mind is the tone of his voice during the Susan Harrison update.
