Nielsen found that 80% of millennials with their own homes who have started families have cable TV.
If they can afford their own home and can afford to have kids, then chances are they can afford to have cable TV too. I don't even have to read the article. It just makes sense.

I think its a good thing. It would be a nice if you asked a kid "what a dictionary is" or "what's a sitcom" that they know what your talking about.
