Has anybody else ever seen the science fiction series Buck Rogers In The 25th Century? It was only on from 1979 to 1981 if I remember, so from when I was 10 to 12 years old. Looking back now, yeah it was really cheesy but I loved it at the time and I'd still like to see it in reruns but I suppose that's not happening. It starred Gil Gerard as Buck Rogers and Erin Grey as Colonel Wilma Deering, she would later go on to star on the sitcom Silver Spoons. Even though it was cheesy and sometimes not well acted, I still think the episode Space Vampire is one of the creepiest episodes of sci fi TV I've ever watched!

Anyways, there was another episode in the first season that Jerry Orbach guest starred on. He of course was Detective Lenny Briscoe on Law And Order. In the Buck Rogers episode though he was playing a bad guy! LOL. The character's name was Lars Mangross and he was the manager of a rock band called Andromeda. He was also some kind of audio/sound wizard and was experimenting with soundwaves broadcast through the band's instruments that somehow messed with listeners' brains and caused them to act violently. He was hoping to somehow start a riot using this technology and take over the Earth and most of the galaxy I guess  Pretty far away from the drama and serious subjects of Law And Order. I only bring it up because it's so different from his role as Lenny Briscoe and I'm genuinely curious if anybody else remembers that episode of Buck Rogers. I know it's not the best science fiction series ever, but personally I don't think it's the worst of them either. But I'm willing to admit that episode was pretty lame.
