Did you ever get that weird feeling, when watching a tv show, you feel that you belong in the tv show.
For example: I'm currently watching Taxi and I'm feeling like I belong with the cast. Did you ever get that feeling?

Yes, The Brady Bunch, because I have 6 kids!!

My wife and I use to watch a show called "7th Heaven" and sometimes we thought they were getting the story line from our life!

Only in the "damn those people are having more fun than me" sense. But I've never wanted to drive a taxi.

Yeah like on a TV show if they are on vacation at a really cool place, I'm like I want to go, wish I was there !!!;) Or if a guy that I have a crush on is kissing/in a love scene with a girl. I'm like I wish I was her!! She's so lucky! :)

Or like on Laverne and Shirley, it would be fun to be at The Pizza Bowl. Having a pizza, a few beers, bowling with some friends. It always looked like such a fun place! And I could see being friends with Laverne, Shirley, Carmine and the rest of the crew. They were cool, down to earth people! :)

There are some older shows that I feel like if they were real places they would welcome me if I visited.

I remember as a preteen imagining I was in my favorite shows, but not since then.

When Mad Men did it's final run I DVR'd all of them (all 80+) and it took me a long time (still haven't watched the Final Ep, although I saw it when it first aired) to get through them all, but I woudl watch 5-6 at a time and for a while, I'd feel like I was in that era. When it was over it was like "back to reality". LOL And of course Frasier... I could walk right into The Elliott Bay Towers condo 1901 and feel right at home. I feel like that whole cast is family.
