Barbara's Friend. 2 parter in season 3.

Her name was Melanie! It was sad, but the episode was very good! Well done! It touched on the subject of a very unhappy, unstable young girl who's parents were looking the other way! Poor girl was crying out for attention and help and she latched on to Barbara! Barbara being a young girl herself not realizing and just thought Melanie was weird and annoying. And than when she tried to commit suicide, Barbara felt really guilty!

It was showing how if parents are embarrassed that their child is having problems, and trying to sweep it under the carpet, it will end up blowing up and being far worse than if they seaked help in the first place!

I thought it was kind of far fetched that Barbara would come to the conclusion that just because the girl was reading/quoting from a Bible that she was at a hotel! Couldn't Melanie perhaps have a Bible at her house? Don't most people? Unless they are from a Religion or Atheist that don't follow the Bible!

I have a couple Bibles at home and growing up always had Bibles in our house!
