Phil Hartman - Especially during the NewsRadio DVD commentaries. He would have been great on those.

John Ritter - I'd love to see what he'd be doing if he were still alive.

Michelle Thomas - I was watching Family Matters on Amazon Instant Video the past few days and it breaks my heart knowing she died so young... just a few months after Family Matters went off the air.

There are several, but the first one that comes to mind is Jeanne Cooper. She was the heart and soul of The Young and the Restless. While I still love the show, it is definitely not the same without her.

And not an actor, but another one that I really miss is Joan Rivers. She was larger than life, and it still blows my mind that she's no longer with us.

Katherine Chancellor was awesome. She really knew Victor Newman inside and out. I loved the friend chemistry between Katherine and Victor.

Joan Rivers.... she was beyond awesome. It makes me sick that she died so needlessly and negligently. Joan was great..... truly an icon.... never afraid to speak her mind.

Ohhhh man, I soooo miss her too. I loved her brassy in-your-face comedy. LOL, whenever I watched her, I'd limit my fluid intake--because she could get me laughing so hard I was afraid ofwetting myself!

I know some have accused her of going too far, but it was just an act. In real life Many intimates described her as a real doll, and I know she did a sh**load of philanthropy.

God what a life force taken from us. And what a horrible shame she passed the way she did.

Regarding others, there are so many I really miss.

So I'm going to list the first five that come to me: Lucille Ball, Bette Davis, Shirley Temple Black, Jimmy Stewart and Michael Landon.

You know what was great about her, in my eyes? Even if she tore you down, she would equally tear herself down.

Yeah, she was not shy about ripping into herself too. Without Joan, sometimes it seems the dullness factor of this world has gone up 300%.

The way she made cracks about her face lifts! It's always a good thing to be able to laugh at oneself.

One thing that I didn't like about her was she could be quite vulgar. I never liked that in any comedian. But that's just me:D

One of my favorite comedians and actor ( Easy Money, Caddyshack ) was Rodney Dangerfield! I miss seeing him, he used to crack me up with his "I get no respect " shtick !!!

He was hilarious all right. I remember a monologue he did on Saturday Night Live; it was so funny my ribs ached.

I know!!! He really was a funny guy!!! I was reading on Wiki that his wife was saying he was a very nice, sensitive mild mannered man, and he sometimes got upset because people just thought of him as his stage persona ( which I personally still thought was nice) !:) I am looking into ordering his autobiography from Amazon "It's not easy being me" ;)

copy and paste from Wiki

Dangerfield resented being confused with his on-stage persona. Although his wife Joan described him as "classy, gentlemanly, sensitive and intelligent,"[26] he was often treated like the loser he played.

I miss a lot of people. So many it would fill book of all show business people. I am sure some people would like to see Harold Lloyd and actors from the real early years. They had talent too.
