The New York Times confronted Rannazzisi on his lie this week after finding evidence that “undermined his account" of his oft-told 9/11 story. The Times notes that Rannazzisi admitted his lie “after a day of deliberation….Actually, he had been working in Midtown that day, and not for Merrill Lynch, which has no record of his employment and had no offices in either tower.”
