Jordan Peele Guest Stars as Live-in Ex-Fiancé in Exclusive "Life in Pieces" Clip

Going home with a date to find their live-in ex? Awkward. When he’s Jordan Peele? Awkward — and funny.

That’s what happens when one half of Key & Peele pops up as a guest star in the new CBS comedy "Life in Pieces", and EW has a look at one of the titular pieces.



Matt (Thomas Sadoski) and Colleen (Angelique) encounter the lounging Chad (Peele) with pet pooch Princess in their shared space. He isn’t equipped to handle the end of their relationship, so he retreats and weeps.

Good on Matt for offering to take Colleen home, but even that doesn’t turn out well.







"Life In Pieces" tracks the life of the Short family and the major life events they face. Each episode features four short stories from the four main groups:

The parents (James Brolin and Dianne Weist)
The youngest son (Colin Hanks) and his wife’s (Zoe Lister-Jones) trials with newfound parenthood
The middle child’s (Sadoski) budding romance
The eldest daughter (Betsy Brandt) and husband’s (Dan Bakkedahl) fear of an empty nest
