I used to watch Wild Wild West back in the day and thought it was good. But I have a hard time watching it now. It seems kind of lame. When he was in a jam, West always had just the right gadget he needed. C'mon, man.

Wild Wild West must be MacGyver's great grandfather.

Have Gun, Will Travel. It was well written, and the duality of Paladin was interesting, but I found Richard Boone's portrayal cold and unlikeable. As for Wild, Wild West (one of my faves), it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. James West was essentially James Bond in the old west. Conrad and Martin were an entertaining pair, and it was fun watching them battle over-the-top villains like Dr. Loveless.

"Hate" is too strong a word, but I was never a fan of Gunsmoke or Bonanza.

Gunsmoke was the best western ever. Bonanza would be in top 10 easily. You're not a fan of westerns.

I just preferred Maverick and Alias Smith and Jones to Gunsmoke and Bonanza.

It is not a western. It is loose fiction of a historical figure.

I doubt anyone in America has more Westerns than i do. Tv westerns or movies both suit me.
