I think the Cosby Show and Roseanne had the best pilot episodes. What do you all think?

If I remember right, the FRIENDS pilot was pretty strong.

The pilot of "Lotsa Luck" was pretty much funnier than the other episodes of the series.

I feel NewsRadio had a really strong pilot and I tend to cite that as my favorite.

Andy Richter Controls the Universe also had a great pilot.

Hard to tell, but when I think of a Pilot Episode, it mentions the origin of the show such as the character and how it all started.

Like The Drew Carey Show pilot episode, Drew doesn't hire Mimi Bobeck and they hate each other throughout the series.

I'm thinking of making a TV show called Everything Happens in Bertstown where the pilot episode is called "The Co-Pilot". The main character sees everyone's life moving forward except his, so he becomes a pilot...see where it all ties in?

I'd have to go with the Golden Girls.
