When I saw the title of this thread, I was thinking the same exact thing. That was a horrible thing for Julie to hear. It was bad enough that Ed said that Barbara was his favorite, but what made it worse is that Ed said that Barbara was ALWAYS his favorite. Poor Julie!!!

He was a drunken fool tonight! I remember us posting about it first time it ran a few months ago. I'll try to dig up the thread!

I watched the episode last night as well I could not believe that he said that I was like dang Ed! that was too much! I didn't like that.

What do you think Ed would have done if he was at Julie's wedding and she switched grooms? :eek:

I think the writers had Ed out of the episode because what really would a Dad do if his daughter went and ended up marrying the best man and not her groom? I'm thinking back to my first wedding , when my Dad was walking me down the isle and OMG if I ended up with the best man. I don't think that would go over to big with my Father!:confused: My Mother or anyone ! OMG the Grooms family! :mad: WHOA!!! !!!! :lol:

But back to Ed. it was just easier that he wasn't in the ep.! ;) But in real life, I think a Father would cancel a business trip for his Daughters first wedding! But than , that wedding wasn't planned in advance, it was a quick decision , so OK, I'll give Ed a pass for not giving Julie away! ;)
