TV Land continues to give a vote of confidence to its new slate of single-camera original comedy series.

After renewing Darren Star’s "Younger" earlier this year, the Viacom cable network has just given second-season pickups to the two followup series, "The Jim Gaffigan Show" and "Impastor".

None have been a breakout hit of the magnitude of TV Land’s first ever original comedy, "Hot in Cleveland", but they have done a respectable ratings business, according to TV Land.

The network notes that "Gaffigan" drew an average of 4.0 million viewers on premiere nights on TV Land and Nick at Nite, while "Impastor" attracted a weekly average of 2.8 million viewers, with "Gaffigan" up +100% from TV Land’s primetime average and "Impastor" up +29% among Adults 25-54.

“We’re really proud of these shows that represent the new TV Land,” said TV land EVP Keith Cox. “They have quality writing and great casts, and we’re excited to move on to season two for both.”

"Impastor" is a dark comedy from Christopher Vane, which stars Michael Rosenbaum as Buddy Dobbs, a slacker on the run from his gambling debt. He seizes an unlikely opportunity to steal a man’s identity, and ends up following that man’s path and posing as the new gay pastor of a small, tight-knit town.

Only time will tell how long he can keep up the façade.

Sara Rue, Mircea Monroe, Mike Kosinski and David Rasche also star in the series.

"Impastor" is executive produced by Vane and Rosenbaum, along with Eric and KimTannenbaum and Rob Greenberg.

don't they pretty much have no choice but to renew them after cutting all their other shows?
