Look at the sixth-season episode "Lies My Roomate Told Me". Jack was in fear of his life for canceling his movie date with Janet.
At least at the end Jack got some from Greedy Gretchen

...and in some of the season 8 episodes Janet damn near killed him lol

Janet was a sweathart in the first 3 or 4 seasons, but after that she was a total bi**h. I couldn't stand her in the last few seasons. She was a paranoid schizophrenic who constantly thought Jack was up to no-good, even though she was constantly proven wrong.
