I'm thinking cases where you can't remember their names, or only seen these cases once; and or did not see them on spike's 2008 reboot.

Two cases that to this day still come to mind:

One story i seen on a lifetime rerun back in 06 describes a story involving 3 cars. There is a couple who has just left a bar in their separate cars only to notice a third following them. The man stops and instructs the lady to stay in her car. When he confronts the stalker the lady states that he shouts (verbatim from the interview and what I remember the most) "WHAT THE BLANKITY BLANK BLANK? Get out of here!" and than the man is murdered point blank by the stalker who proceeds to stare at the woman than leaves. I remember the composite of some guy wearing glasses giving me nightmares. I never seen this case being aired again.

Another case with ironically another scary ass composite; involves a blond long haired man with two shotguns. He proceeds inside of a RV of an elderly couple, kills them than kills an eye witness driving by. This case too i have never seen afterwards.

You can read about both of these cases here:

Sadly, they are both unsolved. However, many people believe that Ronald Glenn West was the Blind River Killer.

What's sad is that we probably won't be able to watch the actual stories ever again due to copyright strikes on youtube.

Just thought of another. One of the first cases on UM i ever saw actually. It was a kidnapping where 2 young girls rode their bikes to the store. When they came back to their rides, one of the bikes was leaned onto a car. When the girl ran to retrieve it a man came right out of the car and snatched her than drove off. Anyone know of this one?

Also still unsolved :( Michaela's mother has a blog and still holds out hope that she's alive.

The kidnapper fit the description of the guy who abducted Jaycee Lee Dugard who I believe was also profiled.

sad how these 1970's-90's cases truly are unsolved considering nowadays they would be solved quick.

Welcome to the boards. We've been fortunate to see many cold cases solved over the years. Sadly there are still many yet to be solved and some that may never be, but if we keep circulating them maybe just perhaps there is hope!

One case that comes to mind is dexter Stefonek. It seems like a case that would be solvable I go back to the distinct vehicle that someone out there would have to recognize. Also another case the truck driver that hit the motorcycle rider on IH 40 in western Arkansas on a stretch of highway I've driven many times. Two truckers were involved so someone out there knows. What about the road rage case where four young men were killed or seriously injured(thought
To be a possible race crime). The Debbie case, the carol case, the las cruces bowling alley brutal robbery... Antoinette cayedito.. All cases where there were witnesses or potential ones that could have information that leads to a suspect!

Phillip Garrido?

I think that the Loren Herzog guy someone mentioned of on here a couple years ago was the guy (possibly along with an accomplice) that abducted and presumably murdered Michaela Garecht. He also fit the description (appearance, etc.) given of the perpetrator at that time.

There was a case where a family is going river rafting in the woods, and then two men, one young , the other middle aged take them hostage. What they said about the young one, was that he was blonde with long hair, and his legs were shaved meaning he was probably an athlete.

I wondered what this case was, and also thought the young blonde guy looked like Mickaela Garrett's abductor.

The Christophe Day case really touches a chord in me for some reason. I find it unfathomable that this mother kept him from his father and then didnt even tell the father that the son had died. I know that his sister and his dad were going to go to France to see if they could actually find proof that Christophe had died, but I have not seen any posts with any new info one way or another.

To me the two that most stick out in my mind is Phillip Fraser and the girl who was abducted while talking to her bf at a phone booth and who he eventually caught up with in his car only to have his transmission go out on him after slamming it into reverse to chase after the kidnappers truck. Fraser was the young guy killed by some random hitch hiker on his way to college in 1988 in Canada and I forget the name of the girl who was never found.

'Angela Hammond Phonebooth Playset' will always be one of the greatest things this forum has given me. I laugh every time....

In all seriousness, her case, and the case of the gay man who was getting money from the ATM (they had a VERY disturbing shot of the man pop up literally next to him as he was withdrawing money) and they've never been solved.

yes Matt Chase's murder is really sad and the case is haunting, because the update gave them hopoe and the second update just put a knife into an open wound.:(
