In the past, I have posted three threads relating to a "Friends" episode that featured a guest character named Joshua. The main thing that started me on this was the fact that this episode appeared to have much in common with the "Gimme a Break!" episode "Samantha's Protest". I found Rachel's giddiness over Joshua to be strikingly similar to Katie's giddiness over the handsome boy from the protest. The fact that I have already posted three threads about this topic is because there appeared to be so many similarities that the subject needed to be split up. However, there was one, very significant difference between the two situations that I found. The handsome boy from "Samantha's Protest" was never seen or mentioned again after that episode. Joshua, however reappeared on a bunch of "Friends" episodes after he was originally introduced. It was on Netflix that I watched the season four episode and thought back to "Samantha's Protest". I have since watched a bunch of sequential episodes in which the plot thickened. Well, this morning I watched what I think was the last episode in which Joshua was seen or even mentioned. It was at this point that the six main characters from "Friends" got on with their lives and let the forgettable extra known as Joshua got on with his!
