A smart phone is a cell phone or mobile phone that operates like a small computer. You can connect it to the internet via either your cell phone connection or any wifi connection you can connect to. You can do most things on a smartphone that you can do on a computer, but because it's so small memory is limited. Because of that a lot of websites have a separate mobile page that will be stripped down a little to load and move through more efficiently. Also the phones might not come with lots of generalized software, so software people write very specific, efficient programs to do different tasks, and people can download these applications (apps) from the internet if they think they'll be useful.

I just want to ask this in 2018: Is there anything that you can do on a smartphone that you CAN'T do on a computer/PC/laptop?
