During the past decade, I have made a lot of observations about what gets uploaded onto You Tube and what does not. I have also observed quite a bit about what stays up and what gets taken down. It seems that, whenever an episode of "Gimme a Break!" gets uploaded, it stays up throughout eternity. There are a bunch of episodes that were uploaded upwards of six years ago that are still up there. However, this does not stop new people from continuing to upload the same episode over and over again. However, other series that get uploaded, tend to get taken down within a day of the upload. Very seldom does an episode of "Three's Company" stay up more than a day. On top of that, episodes of the "Flintstones" and the "Jetsons" tend to get taken down pretty quickly. The only episodes of those shows that stay up for a significant amount of time are ones that you have to go through a heap of red tape to watch. The people who own the rights to those institutions are probably real sticks in the mud! In any event, a while ago, I came to this page and wrote about episodes of the "Honeymooners" that I had watched on You Tube. The fact that I posted threads about them here is because things that went on in these episodes reminded me of things that went on in "Gimme a Break!". The two episodes that I concentrated on were called "The Hot Dog Stand" and "Two Men on a Horse". In between the time that I posted those threads and the present moment, those uploads have been removed from You Tube and then come back. One of the uploads was over a month ago, and, to the best of my knowledge, it is still up there. I am guessing that, if it has gone over a month without being taken down, it might have a chance of staying around for a while. Only time will tell!
