I checked the DVD's for Father Ted out of my local library recently. For those not familiar with this show it's about 3 priests and a housekeeper who live in a house on a small island off the coast of Ireland. All 3 priests have been assigned to this tiny out of the way parish to keep them from embarassing the church. One is a drunk. Another is not sure if he believes in God and The Bible and all that. And the third committed some sort of financial misdeed ("the money was only resting in my account temperarily"). Everything they try to do turns out wrong. The show is full of slapstick comedy and clever dialogue. Has anyone else seen this show? What did you think of it?

One of my favorite Britcoms. Used to watch reruns of it years ago when it aired on BBCAmerica and PBS.
Very funny.

Ardal O'Hanlon who plays Father Dougal went on to appear in another sitcom My Hero, where he plays a superhero. If you like him, then definitely check out that show.
