Esai Morales Cops "Blue Bloods" Role

Onetime "NYPD Blue" lawman Esai Morales will again wield a shield on "Blue Bloods".
TVLine has learned that the actor — who most recently was seen as "The Brink‘s" POTUS and joins "From Dusk Till Dawn" tonight as a crime lord — will guest-star in a late fall episode of the CBS procedural as Delgado, a charismatic NYPD sergeant who has a plan to increase the accuracy of police statistics by seeking the opinions of city youth, and thus earns a promotion from commish Frank Reagan.
The fly in the ointment? Seems that Delgado may be hiding some sordid behavior that could cause his image to lose some luster.
