Vin Diesel Says He’ll Be Back for Third xXx Film

When Vin Diesel talks on social media, people listen. The action star announced via Instagram that he is doing a third installment of the xXx franchise, with filming set to start before year’s end.
"Filming starts December in the Philippines."
This would be Diesel’s first return to the decade-dormant franchise since 2002’s original xXx, when he starred as extreme-sports athlete who is blackmailed into becoming a government operative Xander Cage.
He sat out the second pic in the series, 2005’s xXx: State of the Union, in which Ice Cube starred.
xXx made $142 million domestic on the heels of the original Fast and the Furious. And of course, Diesel is running hot again with Furious 7 becoming the fifth-biggest movie of all time worldwide.
No cast or director is set for xXx3, but Rob Cohen helmed the original and Lee Tamahori the sequel. Revolution released both.

I'll believe it when I see it. They keep saying over and over and over again that there will be another xXx film, yet all they want to do is make ANOTHER Fast & Furious film.

i actually enjoyed the second triple xxx better then the first but i was kind of let down that Vin Diesel wasn't in it. what do you guys think of Vin Diesel as kojack ? i think he will make good kojack. i watch kojack several times on me tv i enjoyed i even watch the remake of kojack couple years ago.

I haven't seen the first xXx since it came out and I totally forgot Asia Argento was in it. I have to check it out again sometime... I have it on DVD.

I haven't watched it in years either, when we babysat one of my nephews when he was younger that was one of the movies he would bring to watch.

If a 3rd XXX comes out, I might see it depending on what the previews look like. It's really sad that Vin Diesel hasn't had a good acting career because he's done too many Fast and the Furious sequels and he hasn't done many action movies. You would think since he's a big man that he would've done a lot of action movies. But for whatever reason, he refuses to do them and would rather do Fast and the Furious sequels hahahahahahahahahahaha. A Man Apart and XXX are the only action movies outside of Fast and the Furious sequels that he's done. So pathetic. Did ya'll know he directed a movie called Strays? He was very young when that came out and I'm guessing it's one of his first movies. The movie was alright and Mike Epps is in it. Knockaround Guys movie he did with Christopher Walken and John Malkovich was alright.

Tubehead, i'll pass hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. He's done some wack movies and that's sad. It's really pathetic that he hasn't done a lot of action movies.

Paramount Pictures has slotted xXx: The Return of Xander Cage for a Jan. 20, 2017 release date.
The third xXx finds Xander coming out of a self-imposed exile to face off against a deadly alpha warrior named Xiang. Racing against Xiang and his team to recover a seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora’s Box, Xander recruits an all-new group of extreme cohorts and finds himself enmeshed in a vast conspiracy that suggests corruption in the world’s most powerful governments.
The Return of Xander Cage stars Samuel L. Jackson, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, and Deepika Padukone.
D.J. Caruso (I Am Number Four) directs from a screenplay by Chad St. John (London Has Fallen) with revisions by F. Scott Frazier (Collide).

their also making an kojack movie ko jack was deactivated show back in the 1970's "& Vin Diesel is playing kojack it comes out sometime in 2017!!
