Walking Distance from season 1.

I was watching the movie Rewrite with Hugh Grant the other night and they showed a Merry go around in the movie and it was said that that was the same one used in the episode Walking Distance. They even showed a clip from the episode in this movie. I have seen this episode so many times and it really is one that hits home with me, so I was wondering if it was the most memorable of all Twilight Zone eps?

I liked this episode. It was very well written and I'd consider it one of my favorites.

Much as I hate to say it, I consider this the Worst episode. Why? Well, because I myself suffered a childhood that was so miserable. So I would certainly not want to time-travel back to my childhood as happened in that episode. Why this episode strikes such a responsive chord in the audience is because most people want to escape from their stressful present, escape to their childhood. But not me-- instead I am so much happier now than I was in my childhood.

My favorites deal with Time. Can't think of the actual titles but James Daily in Last stop at Willowbys, 100 yards over the Rim with Cliff Robertston, Time at last, Burgess Meredith,.
The others I like Penny for your thoughts, Dick York.
Eye of the beholder Donna Douglas. One I didn't care for was the one with Agnes Moorehead with little dialog, too slow moving, and the phone call with Billy Mumy a little sad and haunting. Everytime I see The phone call episode I cry so avoid it.

Contrary to what Coffee said, the episode,"Time Enough At Last" was not about time travel at all. Instead, the title refers to the fact that the protagonist has finally time enough to read his book collection.
In that episode, much emphasis is placed on his tyrannically nagging wife who constantly handpecks him. So we the audience are made to feel pity for him. Actually, I disagree because I don't feel the wife is cruel at all. Instead, it's just because they are not compatible with each other, not having the same hobbies. In my case, I would appreciate having that kind of wife because she is obsessed with playing canasta and cribbage the same as I am.

Hey Abner you are correct. "Time at last" didn't travel forward or backward in time. It was only a few minutes later the bomb came.

Ellie May was in The Eye of the Beholder? I saw a few peaks at it when I was watching some special about various sci-fi shows that was hosted by Dean Cain, and I thought that I started watching reruns of The Beverly Hillbillies before that. That's one of those episodes that I considered revolting, so I'm definitely being selective about avoiding that one. The only way I could see reproducing with someone who was that ugly is with Star Trek technology of beaming and medical tricorders so I could get a transporter lock on a sperm and beam it into one of them. Doctor Who's the only other sci-fi series that I know of that deals with beaming like that.
