I definitely got the impression they were tossing the cards into the toilet when they mentioned that, but it's been a while since I watched it.

I have a feeling the writers reeeaaaally wanted to make that royal flush joke and decided to make it no matter how ridiculous the set-up was. I can't imagine throwing cards into a toilet. Mr. Roper/Mr. Furley would not be amused.

Seems odd that after the men in the Regal Beagle leave when they find out Chrissy isn't selling herself but rather cosmetics that when the guy says "For a moment there I thought it was Christmas!" I can't believe Chrissy didn't say "That's my name!" or "But I am Christmas!" as she was pouting. The writers dropped the ball there.

Wow, they do do some major cutting of episodes! If the episode starts when Chrissy enters the apartment, you miss the whole conversation of how Jack is going to a poker game that night....seems important to set up the episode.

The TV Land (now Logo) version starts with them all on the couch with Chrissy talking about selling the cosmetics
