Peter’s Season 7 presidential candidacy storyline will be set against what’s really happening in the political campaign. "We’re trying to parallel what’s happening on our show with what’s happening in reality,” says co-creator Robert King.

I can't wait for this season to start. And I hope they bring back David Hyde Pierce for at least a few episodes!

I guess I'm done with The Good Wife. I lost interest last season.me too I loved the show when it first started but it just keeps getting dumber and dumber and also everyone has become so unlikeable that ther is not a single person to really care about anymore shows like seinfied where everyone was unlikeable worked because it was a comedy but on dramas it just does not work I mean even on dallas jr ewing was nice sometimes

I just started watching because of David Hyde Pierce and I loved last season so much that I watched the whole series (almost finished, just have Season 4 to finish up), but if David isn't featured in Season 7 I may stop watching as well. I haven't decided yet. I do like Cary; he's my favorite character, aside from Will and Frank Prady. It will be interesting to see what happens this season.

Dan Pfeiffer, who was the White House's communications strategist up until earlier this year, tells how staffers had to monitor all the TV show comments about the president. "The fake Hillary Clinton on The Good Wife won’t determine whether the real Hillary Clinton wins or loses, but how Hillary is portrayed on the show will affect how some view her — and that’s something her campaign will have to deal with in the coming months,” he says.
