– During a Twitter Q&A for NME, Ice Cube said that the N.W.A. opened doors for the edge content of South Park and Eminem.
He said: “We made it ok for artists to be themselves. We let the world know that you can be just as famous doing it hard and rough and taboo and dirty, and all the stuff they call our music and our art. We just wanted to be ourselves — that opened up a door for artists like Eminem, for people to produce things like South Park, where it’s raw and edgy.”
