"Last Man Standing" Snags Jay Leno for Guest Spot

Jay Leno is switching networks … for ABC’s "Last Man Standing".

EW has learned exclusively that the former "Tonight Show" host will guest-star on the upcoming fifth season as a car aficionado — no, he’s not playing himself. His character sells a car to Vanessa (Nancy Travis) as a gift for her husband Mike (fellow car collector Tim Allen).

However, once Vanessa gives the car to Mike, Jay’s character keeps showing up to talk cars and hang out.


"Last Man Standing" returns Friday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Jay Leno made another cameo appearance on Last Man Standing with Tim Allen, and the two were back to their old hijinks. In the episode “Mike and the Mechanics,” the comedians rip on each other through their characters Mike and Joe, joking about Allen sticking to TV sitcoms and Leno leaving "The Tonight Show," respectively.

I saw it and it was funny and true. College isn't for everybody.
