Morgan Freeman’s step-granddaughter was stabbed to death on a Manhattan sidewalk early Sunday, police said.

Edena Hines, 33 — whose grandmother was the actor’s first wife — was stabbed several times in front of W. 162nd St. near St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights just before 3 a.m., cops said.

When police arrived, they found her ex standing over her lifeless body as he screamed incoherently, sources said.

Hines was taken to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The man was arrested and taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, officials said.

I wouldn't want to out late anywhere. I wonder where she was going at 3am.

Creepy to think I was (and am) in Manhattan when that happened! RIP.
