As many of you on this forum are aware, Bill Booth (best remembered as Tommy, best friend to Jay North's "Dennis The Menace") sadly died in late 2006, at age 57, of Liver Failure.

Though SEVERAL ersatz Biographies (including IMDB, which since corrected it) listed his date of birth as August 3, 1952, in actuality, according to his sister Bonnie (per the above link), Bill was, in truth, born on November 7, 1949.

According to Bonnie, her brother Bill, as an adult, became a real-life Lawyer and retired from acting after "Dennis The Menace" ceased production in 1963.

Bill was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in La Cresenta, California, where he graduated high school at age 17 in 1967. Despite his retirement, Bill kept in touch to the very end with Jay North (still alive and going strong at age 64 as of last Monday), Gloria Henry (a very fit and young 92 years as of this past April 2) and Jeannie Russell (now a successful Chiropractor whom often sees Jay on a regular basis as her patient when Jay is visiting Los Angeles by way of his adopted hometown of Lake Butler, Florida).

With Bill having died, of the original DTM cast, Jay North, Gloria Henry and Jeannie Russell are still with us, as is Gil Smith, who appeared in the pilot and several other episodes as Dennis's friend, Joey McDonald (retained from the original comic book series), before being gradually written out during the first season. Gil is a successful Commercial Photographer based in Los Angeles, specializing in Car Photography; you can find more info at http://gilsmith.com

Interesting coincidence; in the Disney movie "Follow Me Boys," Billy Booth played a character named Leo who grows up to be a lawyer.
