"Doctor Who" Nabs Reece Shearsmith

Actor, comedian and writer Reece Shearsmith has been set as a guest star in a special episode of the upcoming season of "Doctor Who".

He’ll appear in what’s deemed “a very scary episode” penned by Mark Gatiss, who says the story has “been brewing in the dark recesses of my mind for a while now.”



Shearsmith previously played Patrick Troughton in the film An Adventure In Space And Time

"Doctor Who" returns for Season 9 on September 19.
