Houston – Meteorologist David Paul warns that we're in for a dangerous heat wave through this weekend with little-to-no rain relief. There's a heat dome in west Texas that hasn't hit Houston yet, so the hottest temps expected this week are on their way.

A high of 100 degrees is expected for Thursday and will continue to climb up to 106 degrees by Monday. The all-time record high for that day is 109 degrees.

The hot temps carry over to the rest of next week, too, with no significant chance for rain in sight. Expect temperatures to reach 80 degrees tomorrow morning.

Generally it doesn't get hotter than about 90 degrees here. But we've had a long hot summer this year with the temperature reaching the mid 90's on many occasions.

In Michigan we get a few 90 degree days but mainly it usually ranges from 75-85 degrees. It's the humidity that makes it unbearable .(for me anyway):) I hate hot weather!

It rarely reaches 90 degrees in my part of the world; this is the reason tourists (from around the world) flock to my area.

Are you in the San Diego area? I have been told that the temps there are quite moderate and that the weather is usually very nice!:)

For me, anything over 70 degrees is too hot. Unfortunately, it sometimes does reach 90 degrees and above here in New York. I hate summer. The month of November is my favorite.

Yes, just outside of Phoenix.

It never reaches 100+ where I'm at...but it has went-up to 90 degrees.

I feel that it's summer when we have at least one 90 degree day. There was only three times it never happened...1915, 1960, and 2000.

I even call 2000 a Sprall year (the word spring and fall combined).

Here in Daytona the forecast sounds like a broken record. Sunny and Hot, chance of afternoon thundershowers Sonny and Hot, Chance of afternoon thundershowers. Sonny and Hot...

March, April, October and November are the best weather.
