Give Me a Ring Sometime (Pilot)
On Sept. 30, 1982, the doors opened on a homey Boston bar, a welcoming place to go, “where everybody knows your name.” For 11 seasons, a top-shelf cast served up refreshingly spirited comedy, with the occasional dash of bittersweet. Despite almost being cancelled after the first season, the sitcom went on to win 27 Emmys, including four for Outstanding Comedy Series. In the series opener, a graduate student (Shelley Long) passes time in the bar while her college-professor fiancé is off retrieving an antique wedding ring from his first wife. While she waits, she trades witty ripostes with the bar owner (Ted Danson). And the fun begins.

Oh man, thank you so much for telling me! Please everyone on the board watch these episodes when they air. I want them to get huge ratings so that NBC will do stuff like this more in the future. Please tell everyone to watch NBC on April 7th starting at 9:00 pm. Can you imagine NBC getting rid of this reality tv garbage once a week or so to play reruns of the classics? That would be so cool. Please everybody, tell all your friends to watch, we need to help give these shows incredible ratings on NBC. It's time to show that we want to make television good again! I wonder if they'll play each episode uncut? I sure hope so! Thanks Pavanbadal for the information, if you wouldn't have posted this, I never would have know. Please continue to keep all of us updated on everything.

Now when you say pilots and finales of NBC Thursday, do you mean NBC will be playing these episodes as part of there anniversary, or Nick At Nite. I have a feeling I may have misunderstood your post.

Nick at Nite is airing it.
