Final Season of Cult U.K. Sitcom "Peep Show" Starts Shooting

The most misanthropic pair of “flat-sharers” in sitcom history are back. "Peep Show" creator Sam Bain has confirmed that the ninth and final season of the BAFTA-winning U.K. comedy is now filming.
“Peep Show series 9 started shooting yesterday,” Bain tweeted earlier today.
"Peep Show", which premiered on the British network Channel 4 in 2003, concerns the misbegotten adventures of two mutually-sabotaging roommates, Mark (Mitchell) and Jez (Webb).
Other show regulars have included "Broadchurch" star Olivia Colman as Mark’s former partner Sophie, "The Leftovers" cast member Paterson Joseph, and Matt King, who plays the deranged Super Hans (key line of dialog: “Tell you what, that crack is really more-ish”).
The previous season of "Peep Show" aired in the U.K. in late 2012. In September, 2013, Channel 4 head of comedy Phil Clarke announced that the ninth season of the show would also be the last.
"Peep Show" is currently available to watch on Hulu.
