OK people. A must see ep. Coming on Monday! ;) Robby Benson guest stars as a college boy who has a blind date with Julie. However he falls for Ann instead. And IMO Ann enjoyed it. Well heck, what woman wouldn't want that hotty Robby Benson hot for her? ;) Robby was blatantly flirting with Ann in front of Julie and david was over even! And they never went out on the date even if I remember correctly, they just stayed in and Robby and Ann were even dancing, right in front of David and Julie who were just sitting there! It was like WHOA!!!!

LOL!! I remember last time around we all had a good discussion going on here about this ep.!!! ;)

Two Robby Benson threads = the most play he's gotten in a while. Let's not forget his vocal performance as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast (1991).

And a more current photo:

[Someone should really teach me how to do it where the photo is immediately displayed].

I remember his early claim to fame was playing John Gunthers son in Death Not Be Proud where he played Johnny a 16 year old who dies of cancer. Sad. A few months ago saw Robby and 40 years later he has long shoulder length gray hair.

I remember him most from Ode to Billy Jo

He now looks a lot like actors who've done adaptations of The Three Musketeers. I think he'd be perfect for that! Or work based on old world piracy.

That was a memorable ODAAT episode. I'm reminded of when the neighborhood teen had a crush on Dorothy Baxter on [I]Hazel. I wonder if Whitney Blake recalled that ep, and had anything to do with suggesting the premise of this episode? Maybe not, as the "too old for you - crush" theme is pretty common in sitcoms.

I do too...and IMO men who can wear long hair and get away with it are few and far between. But he looks good with it, so I approve and allow it :) lol

I love long hair on men. Even an older man as long as it's kept nice and clean (not long stringy homeless man hair , LOL) and still thick, even grey long hair is fine. I wonder if Robby ever wears a ponytail or a man bun! That would look cute! ;)

Wow he has great hair and beautiful eyes! Less than 5 hours till show time!! ;) :D

Damn, Robby Benson was so incredibly cute when he was young. If I was a teenager, I would get totally lost in his eyes, and he seems very charming. He could have had his way with me any time!
And as a gray haired adult, Robby still looks great. He looks like one of those middle aged hippie artists from California! He still looks very charming, too!

LOL at Ann dancing to The Hustle with Julie's date, right there in front of Julie, and David too! She obviously liked his attention, or she wouldn't have danced with him. The woman had no shame. Then she tried to play it off, and said she was just trying to make him feel comfortable. Yea, right Ann, Ms. Romano. ;)

In that Robby Benson pic where he has the beard and long greying hair, he looks like he could be replacement for Jerry Garcia in the Grateful Dead.

Robby also appeared in the cheesy 1984 post-apocalyptic flick City Limits, with John Stockwell, Kim Cattrall, Rae Dawn Chong, James Earl Jones.

Even greater than his fame from ODAAT (haha), Robby Benson is best known for voicing The Beast in Disney's 1991 Best Picture nominee Beauty & the Beast.

I recently just saw Robby Benson on Sabrina! He played her Dad! :)

Yes, sadly he appears on that series only twice, despite having directed so many of the show's episodes: once as an animated image in Sabrina's magic book, and later in episode 20 of season 1 when he visits. Photo of Sabrina with "Dad":
