I think Ann was a bit jealous and threatened by Francine' fiance in the episode. She was a bit immature there. But he was a pompous knowitall. I love the comedy between Bonnie Franklin and Shelley Fabares. They bring out the best of each other.

I thought she was off her rocker. He wasn't that bad at all; certainly not nearly as bad as she was claiming he was.

Anytime that and can stick it to Francine I have no problem with it. I Saw this episode on the marathon. I had no issue with Ann dissolving her partnership with Francine.

I didn't like the guy AT ALL!!!! And I didn't find him good looking either! And as it turned out Francine wasn't even into him once that other guy walked into the restaurant! Good thing Ann did intervene, or Francine would have married a man she didn't really love!
