Marks two friends come on, antagonize three characters the audience loves (Barbara, Max, Grandma) for half an hour, then leave, and the producers expected everyone to follow them to their own show?

THAT was a back-door pilot spin-off attempt??

Omg...they were such annoying jerks. I could barely handle them for one half-hour, much less at least 13 or 26 episodes. I'm TBM: Team Barbara & Max! lol

They were even billed in the credits as The Funny Guys, which I assume would have been the name of the show.

Or An oxymoron.
That was almost unwatchable.
It seemed like they had guest writers form a bad 50s sitcom.

Quick correction. They were billed as The Funny Boys, not Guys.
