"The Comedians" Cancelled at FX

The fate of "The Comedians" is no laughing matter; FX has decided to axe its Billy Crystal-Josh Gad comedy after just one season.

The freshman series, which starred Crystal and Gad as fictionalized versions of themselves, premiered in April to mixed reviews; its 13-episode run officially ended in June.



Showrunner Ben Wexler broke the news himself on Twitter:

"#TheComedians is cancelled at FX. I could not be more proud of the work we all did."

I liked the show very much. Not sure if they had 10 seasons in them, but I thought it could have gone places.

Oh, well.

It was fun while it lasted.

This was awful and unfunny. Good riddance! Josh Gad is super annoying.

OK, it's a matter of taste. I adore Josh Gad !
