Just saw a new promo spot on METV last night with the three PJ girls. I could make out Linda Henning and Lori Saunders but don't know if the third was Jeanine Riley or Gunilla Hutton.

Cool to see the girls now. Linda is still pretty!

If it is the PJ promo on their website, it is Gunilla Hutton and a very cool promo, indeed :)

I was in the Salvation Army Store and found a lot of never opened movies and t.v. shows on DVD. They were packaged in round plastic but not boxed. Anyone seen those? Anyway, I picked up a season of Petticoat Junction because more than anything: I LOVED THE THEME SONG! But alas, it must have been the first season. I didn't get to hear the theme song. I think it was just music. It had the episode where one of the girls beats the male competitors at horse shoes. Another one some hoodlums stayed there and got straightened out by Kate.

Yep, CJ, it's the same promo as on their website so mystery solved, it's Gunilla Hutton.

Linda and Lori are still very recognizable. Gunilla...not so much.

When you have DVDs where you don't hear the theme song, likely they are public domain episodes that have been compiled with the opening audio replaced. This is because the original opening music remained under copyright. The same was true for public domain releases of The Beverly Hillbillies.

Here's a photo from the new promo, with Linda Kaye Henning (Betty Jo), Lori Saunders (Bobbie Jo seasons 3-7), and Gunilla Hutton (Billie Jo season 3):

They are the cast as was assembled for Season 3 only. Since the cast members from seasons 1-2 Jeannine Riley (Billie Jo) and Pat Woodell (Bobbie Jo) are also still living, there are other possible combinations for promos -- without having more than one Billie or Bobbie on at once:

Linda Kaye, Pat, and Jeannine
Linda Kaye, Pat, and Gunilla
Linda Kaye, Lori, and Jeannine (the latter 2 worked on Dusty's Trail together)
