So when they pull ODAAT, I will suggest you take a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihLJrcS8lsg

I posted this link for you on the TMTMS board about a month ago so you can see what TMTMS evolved into in its later seasons, which is far different than those early episodes you've been exposed to. Early seasons: not so funny; later seasons: hilarious. The same person who posted this episode on Youtube has a bunch of other episodes from later in the series.

So I don't get completely off topic, what do Ann Romano and Mary Richards have in common? They're both independent career women, and they have the same mother -- Nanette Fabray!

A rerun of local news comes on instead of Threes Company here everynight. That's 9PM my time. It used to be 8-9 that they ran the news but since ODAAT started they switched it to 9PM ! Which was lucky for me, but It sucks they have to do that at all!

If it is any consolation, you didn't miss much the 11:00 ep was a clunker, really boring!

What was the 11pm episode about?

Something about Sam decorating Ann and Francine's office. Boring. I turned it off and watched What's My Line? videos on Youtube instead.

Yeah it did not show the kids or their house at all! And you know how I love Ann's work related episodes! (sarcasm)! And no Grandma Romano, Schneider had a couple funny moments but not enough to make the show not be a dud! :(

And the next ep wasn't great either. Schneider being reunited with an old girlfriend from high school, who was happily married though. So the show pretty much went nowhere! :( And Barbara was in it briefly but Mark and Max were no where to be found! Two eps in a row without the guys!

Lucky for me here in St. Louis, AntennaTV has its own sub station, but on occasions it is interrupted by local high school sports or religious programing.

We also get MeTV and Bounce which is pretty cool.

I was wondering how much of a rewatch value the show has. I guess we will find out soon.

I'm watching again. I missed a few eps. and I want to see some of the memorable ( 2 and 3 parter) eps again! But what I will do is if I tune in and the ep is a dud, and I didn't even think it was great the first time, I'll look for something else to watch!

There's a few I need to see that I missed the first time around, and since I'm bored I'll list them:

-Barbara's Emergence (the first Bob, and the one with Christopher Knight, for you BB fans)
-the first talent show (aka Elton John and Shirley Temple, which I know some of you don't like)
-the one with Mark Hamill, who I recently heard on a podcast and who seemed pretty interesting
-the one where Barbara steals Julies poems (just 'cuz it' funny)

I never saw the one where Barbara and Bob run away to Chicago with each other.

The one where Julie joins a religious cult.

The one where Barbara finds out she can't have children

The one with Mark Hamill

Barbara's broken nose

Barbara stealing Julie's poems , and a few others

Once again you prove my mentally unstable comment. LOL

When an affiliate signs on to a network like Antenna TV they make an agreement that they can pre empt and air alternative programming other than what is offered by those networks. That is part of the reason affiliates sign on in the first place because they would be less likely to sign on if they are told they have no say over what airs.

Luckily in my area the full Antenna TV schedule airs but my Me-TV affiliate is screwed up because Sunday is mostly paid programming all day and during football season the night shows are removed to air all the games.

Gratefully I am not a fan of what airs on Me-TV so it does not bother me too much. Me-TV needs more sitcoms and less 1 hour dramas, westerns and cop shows
