I still believe that MLB went on strike in 1994 purposely so that there wouldn't be a third straight Canadian World Series winner, adding to Toronto's wins in 1992 and 1993. Nobody would have beaten the Expos that season. That ultimately cost them the franchise because after that the fans stopped showing up. Maybe Cincinnati would have given them a good battle, but that season, there was nobody better than the Expos. |
