really made Mark's golfing seem like not all that much. Belittling your bride AND kissing another woman beats it. By the way, Marks delivery of the name Molly might be his best line reading on the series.

Belittling your bride AND kissing another woman beats it. By the way, Mark's delivery of the name Molly might be his best line reading on the series. That was CRAZY!! OMG what was going on with Bob??? Talk about holding on to a crush! He really was holding a torch for Barbara! Good ep. though! I always liked Bob, when he came on last night I was like Oh cool, BOB!!!!! YAY!!!! I'm confused though!!! So Bob didn't end up marrying that girl who was a run around. The one with the bad reputation? The last time he was on ODAAT. She was really pretty. I think her name was Claudia? After that ep. it left you to believe they would end up together. I guess not, here he comes with Molly. Poor Molly. She wasn't very pretty! And Bob saying well she looked better before she got airsick!! OMG!!! :D That was funny when she ended up kissing Mark!!! Bonniegirl 10-02-2015, 12:11 AM Just bumping up this thread, since the ep with " All the way, Faraday" was just on!!! opus 11-05-2015, 02:30 PM To Bonnie, this is the only other Buyer Remorse topic I can find, but Anna's not in on it. Bonniegirl 11-05-2015, 05:39 PM To Bonnie, this is the only other Buyer Remorse topic I can find, but Anna's not in on it. Yeah!!! This is the one I guess I'm thinking of!!! And I bumped it up in the beginning of October even!! I wonder why I couldn't find it last night? I really thought more of us had posted on here though? Oh well! probably the subject was brought upon other ODAAT threads and that is what I'm thinking of! ;) That was funny, the way Mark said "MOLLY"!!!! Bob really was out of character!! He was nervy kissing Barbara with her husband right in the apartment! Well same with Max and Barbara in the Nearness of you! Poor Mark!!! :( And isn't it funny how Mark, Ann. Max and Molly weren't able to hear any of the conversation? It didn't even bother Bob that they might be overheard! And Damn that was some long layover for a domestic flight in the early 80's! That they would have time to catch a cab from the airport with all their luggage, and go visit and make it back by cab to the airport in order to catch the flight!! IDK how close Ann lived to the airport!!! Anna Karenina 11-07-2015, 01:42 PM Bob was way out of line in this episode but I can put that aside because it was laugh out loud funny with the kisses the Royers were forced to endure and the aforementioned line reading of "Molly!":happyface Were we to assume that Mark enjoyed the kiss or was grossed out by it especially because she was ill and therefore contagious? Either way, fun episode. I would like to think Bob really loved Molly but just wanted to see what it would be like to kiss his high school fantasy. I liked the way Barbara firmly shut him down on that one. BTW, Do you all think Bob ever slept with Claudia? Bonniegirl 11-07-2015, 03:35 PM LOL!!! That was a funny ep!!! I think Mark was kind of in a state of WTF?????? No I don't think he enjoyed the kiss, and esp. because like you said Anna ,the girl had been sick! Oh yeah, I'm sure Bob slept with Claudia! They were all set to get married! But than maybe not? She was trying to turn over a new leaf and be a good girl ,but Bob already knew she wasn't! Hmmm, could have gone either way than. I'll have to give it more thought! opus 11-07-2015, 04:32 PM BTW, Do you all think Bob ever slept with Claudia? I vote no. Remember that early season talk he had with Babs about waiting till marriage? Yeah, it's supposed to be different for guys. But this is Bob we're talking about. I say he stuck with it. Bonniegirl 11-07-2015, 04:38 PM I vote no. Remember that early season talk he had with Babs about waiting till marriage? Yeah, it's supposed to be different for guys. But this is Bob we're talking about. I say he stuck with it. You could be right!!! Maybe that is why they never went about with the marriage! Could have been Claudia that got tired of waiting and went onto find a guy that would have sex with her! Maybe the bad girl still was wild, and Bob was too goody goody for her! Bonniegirl 03-16-2016, 02:51 AM Yeah!!! This is the one I guess I'm thinking of!!! IDK how close Ann lived to the airport!!! Yeah!!! I can't ad anything else from my last review, except to say it even seemed funnier today !!! I was cracking up even though I have seen it now three times and know what is going to happen!!! ;) :D I'd say this is definitely one of the best/funniest eps. of the series and for me to say that about an ep. without Max is really saying something!!! :D  mets82 03-16-2016, 09:31 PM Wait, Mark kissed somebody else? Molly? Bob held a torch for Barbara? Do you blame him? Right, Opus? opus 03-16-2016, 10:33 PM Wait, Mark kissed somebody else? Molly? Well, Bob's wife Molly kissed Mark when she found out Bob kissed Barbara, but it was a revenge type thing in front of everyone, so it wasn't really that type of kiss. Anna Karenina 07-24-2017, 01:11 PM To Bonnie, this is the only other Buyer Remorse topic I can find, but Anna's not in on it. She is now. Better late than ever.  It may be one of the funnier episodes from a comedic aspect but they really made Bob look like such a fool and a user in this one. It seems way out of character for Bob to treat a woman like this. Looks like he pretty much married this lady because he worked for her father and wanted job security. Not at all like the sensitive and loving guy who wouldn't hurt a fly if it stung him on the cheek. And apparently Babs never told him about Bob because Mark said "Who is this guy?". You would think his name would have come up at least one time. Funny but strange episode to say the least. (ETA. I see I did weigh in on it at some point, I guess) ;) Anna Karenina 07-24-2017, 01:20 PM Bob was way out of line in this episode but I can put that aside because it was laugh out loud funny with the kisses the Royers were forced to endure and the aforementioned line reading of "Molly!":happyface Were we to assume that Mark enjoyed the kiss or was grossed out by it especially because she was ill and therefore contagious? He was SUCH A RICHARD HEAD to do that to his wife. :( Bonniegirl 07-24-2017, 01:24 PM She is now. He was SUCH A RICHARD HEAD to do that to his wife. :( Yeah he was worse than Uncle Charley here!!  Anna Karenina 07-24-2017, 01:36 PM Yeah he was worse than Uncle Charley here!!   Yes! Uncle Charley may have been gruff and cranky but he had boundaries and wasn't stuck in the past making a fool of himself over a woman who always stuck him in the "friend zone" and never looked at him with any appreciable interest. BTW, I looked up John Putch today and he became quite a successful director. Edith would be proud. Anna Karenina 07-24-2017, 03:30 PM Molly would have been really cute if they fixed her up a little. I like that she had balls and evened the score with her husband before they left. Go Molly! Go Molly!  props: props: props: Anna Karenina 07-29-2017, 09:20 PM Anybody else find it out of character that Bob would treat his new bride this way? RetroTVNitekatt 07-29-2017, 11:28 PM Anybody else find it out of character that Bob would treat his new bride this way? It is very odd as Joseph Bonaduce wrote the teleplay so it's not like he didn't know how to write for the character. His Son Anthony is credited as writer on this episode. Bob was so kind to Claudia and the southern belle but has "buyers remorse" after marrying this lady? Nobody forced you into it, Bob. And then you sniff around Barbara again like a lovesick puppy? Force a kiss on a woman who is happily married? Her look of disgust was palpable. You found a way to disrespect your wife and Mrs. Royer. Talk about character regression. :( Bonniegirl 07-30-2017, 06:18 PM Yes, that is strange since he wrote so many "Bob" episodes. This wasn't the Bob we all knew.
