Now Laura is passing the torch. I believe that Helen Slater, who played Supergirl in the 80s and was Clarks Real Mother on Smallville, played opposite Lauras Kara Kent (Supergirl) and sorta passed the torch to her.

Seems kind of weird I'd like to see her as an older Supergirl if and when the show does a time traveling episode.
